About Judy Glick-Smith 
Judith L. Glick-Smith, Ph.D., is the founder and President/CEO of MentorFactor, Inc. She is a strategic transformation consultant and long-time entrepreneur.  She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Communication at Kennesaw State University.

Judy started her first business in 1983 , after discovering a need for systems documentation in most of the organizations where she worked as a programmer. She founded Integrated Documentation, Inc. in 1987 when she relocated to Dallas, Texas. IDI focused on documenting high technology systems. MentorFactor, Inc. was founded in January 2006 after relocating to the Atlanta area.

Judy recently completed her Ph.D. in Transformative Studies with a concentration in Integral Studies from the California Institute for Integral Studies. She has a Masters of Science in Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University, a BBA in Accounting with a minor in Information Systems from Georgia State University.

Judy is a Fellow and Past President of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), an international organization dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication.

She has published articles in World Futures: Journal of General Evolution, the Journal of Consciousness Evolution, the Journal of Mind and Behavior, and Enterprise Systems Journal; both of STC’s publications, Intercom and Technical Communication; the Center for Information-Development Management’s newsletter, Best Practices; and The Rockley Group’sThe Rockley Report. She has regularly presented at numerous professional organizations and conferences since 1988.

The joy in her life comes from her family, especially her grandchildren; her English Springer Spaniel, Gracie (every cowgirl needs her dog); her love of photography; her love of horses; traveling to new places; and connecting with and helping as many people as she can on her life's journey.
